Does your computer suddenly pop up with a software called Antivirus XP 2008 and tell you that your computer has been affected by spyware?

Then congratulation you have been receive a free copy of Trojan Horse called Antivirus XP 2008

Antivirus XP 2008 is a very annoying virus. It’s disguise into Antivirus Software and keep telling us to purchase a copy of Antivirus XP 2008.

Why I write this? Because yesterday my computer got infected with this f**king trojan horse and make my computer hang 5 minutes after start up.

How to get rid of it?

Well It’s very simple actually, but kinda tricky, but here is what I have done.

First I scanned it with Adware however nothing has been detected.

Then I scanned it with AVG Antivirus. Now this one gave me result but unfortunately AVG can only clean a part of the Trojan Horse.

I search through internet and found this Bleeping computer Site and this forum talking about the same virus. If you pay attention on it the post is actually quite now, so I thinks this is a new virus.

They suggest to use a software called Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware so I try it. I download it and scanned. It’s surprise me cause It really can found another 41 Trojan Horse that AVG Antivirus and Adware failed to detect. Click here to download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware.

So guys if your beloved computer has been affected by this Antivirus XP 2008 trojan horse clean it right away with Malwarebytes. It’s only took me 20 minutes to get rid of it

Oh yeah, run and scan your computer with Malwarebytes on safe mode. If you enter windows trough normal mode, your computer will stop functioning (hang) just in 5 minutes or so…

Ps : I heard Spyware Doctor is not working for this Trojan Horse
